A grand day for Charity golf tournament…
Wednesday 10th May saw Maidenhead Golf Club play host to the 2006 Rotary Golf tournament, sponsored by Millgate Homes. The event raised in excess of £6000 for various charities as teams from local businesses and Rotarians took part in a hotly contested competition which saw Willmett and Co Solicitors of Maidenhead take the first prize, with the Maidenhead Golf Club team finishing in second place.

“The tournament was a great success – it was an excellent way to support the admirable fundraising of the Rotary Club, the weather was delightful and Maidenhead Golf Course was in fantastic condition. We are delighted to have supported this year’s event, coming as it did at the end of another record year - which culminated this week with recognition at the Evening Standard Awards presented at The Savoy with success in two categories, including Best Apartment at our Robin Hill development in Maidenhead, which enjoys superb views over Maidenhead Golf Club.
