As a long-running supporter and sponsor of its local football club, Bracknell Town, Millgate Homes is proud to sponsor the club's Community Project which provides FA approved football coaching for pupils in 21 schools within the district during their PE lessons.

A team of coaches, led by Bracknell Town's Community Project Co-ordinator Gavin Taylor travel throughout the Bracknell Forest area, teaching children between the ages of 4 and 11 at participating schools. Gavin Taylor explains the initiative in more detail:

"The goal of this initiative is to get children to learn vital football skills while having fun. The focus of the coaching is non-competitive, due to the very young age of some of the children, although there is a strong emphasis on fair play as the children get older."

David Simpson, Director and General Manager of Millgate Homes explains:

"The scheme benefits all the Children who take part, but the professional coaching helps provide talented youngsters with the essential skills they will need to develop their game, especially if they wish to pursue football as a profession."

Millgate Homes support this initiative by providing a branded car, track suits and all equipment (balls, cones etc...) used by the coaching team.
